With the best material, we were already able to catch tuna up to 350 kg, and almost every day we had a few runs that unfortunately did not always end with the catch of a big tuna, because sometimes the fish is simply too big. Some Mediterranean regions have seen a sharp increase in the presence of tuna, which can be attributed to restrictions on commercial fishing.
The 6.50 m Sea Fury walkaround fishing boat is built to US standards and has a 220 hp engine. This US Coast Guard-approved vessel can accommodate up to four anglers.
We have 50 and 80 LBS reels on board, as well as casting reels and rods for when we find the big schools of tuna.
You can fish from a standing position or from the fighting chair.
It's a real adventure! Great bites resulted in hundreds of metres of line disappearing from the reel in just a few seconds, after exhausting drills that sometimes lasted more than an 2 hours.
We use the following fishing techniques.
Trolling ( with lures)
Chuming (floating and feeding with sardines, the bites are explosive, immediately at least 300 meters of line have disappeared from the reel.
Spinning (Throwing to the big schools of tuna hunting in the surface)
We have the right equipment on board for all these types of fishing.( lures,hooks, leaders,reels,rods)
